The Year of Magical Thinking (Joan Didion)

A book that changed my life. I do grief and bereavement therapy work and years ago my interest in supporting the community was peaked when I read this book. After experiencing the loss of a few friends at a younger age my curiosity about navigating the process of grief started and this was the first book I ever read on the topic years later.
