Thee French salad dressing, as far as I’m concerned. I found a handful of websites recommending a version that adds lemon juice, garlic, and sometimes even honey or sugar to the mix - don’t listen to them. All you need is Dijon, red wine, olive oil and minced shallots for the real classic.
