Girls (TV Series 2012–2017)

I know many people love this show but I have a caveat to my recommendation. When this show came out I was still in undergrad, younger than the girls or “the ladies” if you will (Jemima won’t), the second time I watched I was their age, post grad confused, and unsure in the city I went to school in ect, then I rewatched it again in my early 30’s, post Saturn return but still very much finding my way. Each time I watched it with different eyes, first maybe a little judgmental and with the hubris of youth thinking not me, then with complete and total relatability weather I liked it or not (sometimes we are all a little bit too Marnie to look in a mirror), and then when I was older with so much sympathy, love and understanding. Watch it in every phase IF it’s still possible. If not just watch it.
