Birthday “cakes” that aren’t cake

While I enjoy cake here and there, I’d usually almost always rather have something else. Sometimes we are also in a jam, need a celebratory item and do not have time to bake ect. I like to make an impromptu “cake” with something easy such as mochi. I will usually go to Whole Foods and get a variety. You can also do this with the macaroons there.
