High Peaks Resort- Lake Placid

I stayed here and it was great. A dog friendly place that isn’t giving motel vibes because it is dog friendly. The wooden decor and Lake house resort vibes are so nostalgic to me as someone who grew up in a Lake community. Walkable to Main Street as it is on the top end of it. Amenities including both indoor and outdoor pools (the outside one is lake front), paddle boats to rent, fitness areas, the restaurant attached and the single best customer service I have had at a stay since pre covid times. I pulled up after a long drive to a later check in after traffic up from the city and the woman handed me a glass of champagne upon seeing how tired I was, got a room service order that arrived 5 minutes after I did to my room and SOLD.
